By definition, a colloid is extremely small, which allows it to be used at the cellular level. Studies have shown that the size, as well as concentration, of silver particles determines how effective it is. The majority of these studies conclude that a colloid particle size of .001 microns (or smaller) at a concentration of 10 ppm (parts per million) was the most effective for long -term safe use.
